3-Bird Roast

We’re delighted to offer our famous three-bird roast again for Christmas 2025. Order now, and prepare to wow your guests with an incredible festive feast.

The roast comprises a free range goose, filled with a free range chicken and a free range pheasant - for the ultimate in flavour profile and succulence.

Goose

Our geese can often be seen marching down the road in the mornings and evenings as they travel to and from their daily pastures - a quintessential sight of Croxton Kerrial.

Goose has dark, dense meat with an intense flavour. A layer of fat underneath the skin on the breast keeps it moist during cooking.

Chicken

We allow our chickens to grow for at least 100 days, which gives them a chance to lay down fat. This adds to the flavour, and ensures beautiful, moist meat when cooked.

Our chickens are dry-plucked with no added water, which allows for quick roasting.

Pheasant

Raised across open fields, the pheasants develop naturally tender, lean meat with a distinctive, delicate gamey flavour.

Serving

Out three bird roast weights in at a total of (approx) 4.5kg, and should feed between 10 and 12 people - with plenty left over for Boxing Day. Order now for collection in time for Christmas.
