Description
Collection is available between 10am–12pm on selected Saturdays from our farm in Croxton Kerrial, Grantham.
Please order by 12pm on Monday for this week's collection and select your collection date on the checkout page.
Growing our cockerels for at least 120 days gives them a chance to lay down fat, which adds to the flavour and moisture of the bird when cooked.
Our cockerels are dry-plucked with no added water, which makes them perfect for quick roasting. We recommend roasting them for 18-20 minutes per pound or 454kg at 180°C/375°F. However, it is important to check the thickest part of the leg to ensure that it has reached a temperature of 70°C/175°F, as ovens may vary.
